I'm a Southern California native who grew up in West Covina. I moved up to Northern California in '95 to attend Sonoma State University. I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Studies. Home is now No. Cal. where I am enjoying life with my two beautiful daughters.
I became interested in taking portraits when my twins were born. After their birth, I resigned from UCSF to be a full-time Mom. When you go from working full-time in San Francisco to being a stay-at-home Mom, it is quite an adjustment. They kept me busy every second, but it gave me time to play around with my camera which I didn't have time for before. It was fun documenting their growth through photography.
In 2006, people saw my work and wanted me to take portraits of them. That's how my business got started. I'm a self-taught and inspired photographer. It wasn't something I intentionally pursued, it just happened.
My favorite things to do with my daughters:
Eat ice cream, biking, hiking, camping, walking our dog Bailey, swimming, going to the beach, watching movies, board games, church on Sundays, Giants games, watching the sun rise, & going for scenic drives.
Favorite things I like:
Hanging with my boyfriend, Chad, spending time with friends, working out at the gym, watching movies, sushi and Thai food, the beach, beautiful places, beautiful buildings, shopping, pretty jewelry, dark chocolate (esp. with almonds), ice cream (rocky road and mint chip), summer, summer dresses and flip flops, music concerts, museums, and serving in my church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), and going to the temple.
I appreciate all who have supported me, especially my family.
